Overview
Palm Drive Capital brought its investors, founders, and portfolio operators together in New York City for its 2026 Annual General Meeting — a fund update, a talk on the frontier of AI models and robotics, and founder sessions on AI call agents and cross-border fintech, followed by dinner. We covered the day and cut it into a short recap film that carries the feeling of the room rather than the agenda.
Goal
To give the firm a piece that communicates momentum to the investors and founders who couldn't be in the room — proof that the network is real and the people in it are worth backing.
Creative Direction
We shot it as documentary coverage, not event video — handheld, working with the warm light of the club rather than against it, staying close to the conversations happening between sessions. The film is narrated by the attendees themselves: rather than voiceover, we pulled lines from what people actually said on the day and set them as kinetic type in the firm's own palette, so the story about optimism and building comes from the room, not from us.
